Al Ittihad striker, Karim Benzema, has returned to Real Madrid’s training ground.
Benzema has travelled there to undergo further tests and treatment on his latest injury.
This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Wednesday night.
Romano posted on X, saying: “Karim Benzema has returned to the Real Madrid training complex in Valdebebas to go through additional testing and receive assistance with his injuries.”
“Al Ittihad affirms that they are appreciative of Real Madrid’s assistance in treating Benzema’s injury.”
Benzema was a free agent when he just moved from Real Madrid to Al Ittihad last summer.
The Saudi Arabian club is expecting the Frenchman to be fit for their final five matches of the season.
